Before you ask… :
The title of the blog, the Daily Nash-on , is a play on my nickname since St.Xavier’s College – Nash…and a popular news paper, “The Daily Nation” .
Currently, I am a doctoral researcher at the Department of Systemic Cell Biology at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Physiology in Dortmund, Germany.
While this is not an academic site, my interests include processes that create dynamic spatio-temporal distributions of proteins within cells, in particular, their lipid modifications , and the implications on signalling cascades.
I am an Indian by birth and nationality, and my family which includes my parents, my brother Devavrat stays in Mumbai.
Pooja, my girl-friend with whom I share a rather chaotic relationship, stays in State College, Pennsylvania, USA.
My interests include science, computing, philosophy, cyber-culture and just about anything interesting under the sun….and I am not a fan of _silly_ bollywood movies.
